Please read them before placing an order.
By ticking the box “I have read and agree to the Terms & Conditions” at checkout you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not place an order.

2. Definitions
- Buyer or you — any natural or legal person who places an order through the Website.
- Consumer — a Buyer who is a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession. Consumers enjoy the additional rights described in Sections 9, 10 and 15.
- Products — the food supplements and other goods offered for sale on the Website.
- Contract — the distance sales contract concluded between the Seller and the Buyer in accordance with Section 5.
- Business day — any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in the Republic of Lithuania.
3. Scope and applicable law
3.1. These Terms apply to all Contracts concluded through the Website. Any terms proposed by the Buyer that deviate from these Terms do not apply unless the Seller has expressly agreed to them in writing.
3.2. Contracts with Consumers are governed by the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania, the Law on Consumer Protection of the Republic of Lithuania, the rules on distance contracts implementing Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, and the rules on the sale of goods implementing Directive (EU) 2019/771. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right that you have under mandatory consumer-protection law of Lithuania or, where applicable, of the EU Member State in which you habitually reside.
3.3. Products are sold only to persons aged 18 or over. By ordering you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
4. Products and health information
4.1. The Products are food supplements within the meaning of Directive 2002/46/EC and the applicable Lithuanian legislation. Food supplements are not medicinal products. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and they must not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
4.2. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose stated on the label. Keep out of reach of young children. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking medication, or have a medical condition, consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Stop use and seek medical advice if you experience any adverse reaction.
4.3. The information on the Website is provided for general information only and does not constitute medical advice. The Seller takes reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, ingredients and nutrition information are accurate at the time of publication; however, the packaging and label of the Product you receive are authoritative. Always read the label before use.
4.4. Product images are illustrative. Minor differences in packaging design, colour or appearance that do not affect the nature, quantity or quality of the Product do not constitute a lack of conformity.
4.5. Each Product bears a best-before date. The Seller guarantees that, at the time of dispatch, every Product has a remaining shelf life of at least 2 months. For orders of 3 jars the minimum remaining shelf life is 4 months, and for orders of 6 jars it is 7 months, so that the full course can be completed before the best-before date. These periods apply unless a shorter period is clearly stated on the product page.
5. Ordering and conclusion of the Contract
5.1. The presentation of Products on the Website is an invitation to treat, not a binding offer. By completing the checkout and clicking the button marked “Place order” (or a similarly worded button confirming an obligation to pay), you submit a binding offer to purchase the Products in your cart.
5.2. Before submitting your order you can review and correct your cart, delivery address and payment method on the checkout page.
5.3. After you submit your order we will send an automatic e-mail acknowledging receipt. This acknowledgement is not an acceptance. The Contract is concluded when we send you an e-mail confirming that your order has been accepted and is being processed (the “Order Confirmation”), or when we dispatch the Products, whichever occurs first.
5.4. We may decline or cancel an order in whole or in part where:
(a) the Product is unavailable;
(b) an obvious pricing or description error has occurred (see Section 6.4);
(c) payment cannot be authorized;
(d) we reasonably suspect fraud or a breach of these Terms; or
(e) the quantity ordered is inconsistent with personal use. If we cancel an order for which payment has already been taken, we will refund the full amount without undue delay and in any event within 14 days.
5.5. The Contract is concluded in the language in which you completed the checkout. We store the Contract terms and your order details and will send them to you with the Order Confirmation; registered users can also view their orders in the “My account” area.
6. Prices, promotions and pricing errors
6.1. All prices are stated in euro (EUR) and include value-added tax (VAT) at the rate applicable in the Republic of Lithuania.
Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout before you place your order and are set out on our Shipping page.
6.2. The price payable is the price displayed on the Website at the moment you submit your order.
We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders for which an Order Confirmation has already been sent.
6.3. Quantity discounts, promotional prices and discount codes apply only under the conditions stated at the time of the promotion.
Bundle prices (for example, a reduced price per jar when 3 or 6 jars are purchased in one order) are calculated on the quantity in a single order and are not applied retroactively to separate orders.
Discount codes cannot be combined unless expressly stated, have no cash value and may be withdrawn at any time.
Where a Consumer withdraws from part of a bundle, we refund the proportionate share of the bundle price actually paid (the bundle price divided by the original number of jars, multiplied by the number of sealed jars returned, rounded to the nearest cent); the jars retained are not re-priced and no delivery charge is added retrospectively where the original delivery was free. Details and examples are on our Returns & Refunds Policy page.
6.4. If a Product is displayed at a price that is manifestly incorrect (for example, as a result of a technical error) and the error was, or should reasonably have been, obvious to the Buyer, we are not obliged to supply the Product at that price.
We will contact you to offer the Product at the correct price or to cancel the order with a full refund.
7. Payment
7.1. Payment is due in full at the time of ordering. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout, which currently include bank transfer and bank-link payments via Paysera and card payments via Stripe.
Payment is processed by these licensed payment service providers under their own terms; the Seller does not receive or store your full card number or online-banking credentials.
7.2. Orders are dispatched only once payment has been confirmed by the payment provider.
If payment is not received within 3 business days of order submission, the order is canceled automatically.
7.3. A VAT invoice is issued electronically and sent to the e-mail address stated in your order.
By placing an order you consent to receiving invoices in electronic form.
8. Delivery
8.1. We deliver to the countries, by the carriers, within the estimated times and at the charges set out on our Shipping page, which forms part of these Terms.
8.2. Delivery times stated on the Website are estimates. Unless a specific delivery date has been agreed, we will deliver the Products without undue delay and in any event no later than 30 days after conclusion of the Contract.
If we fail to deliver within that period, you may set an additional reasonable period; if we still fail to deliver, you may terminate the Contract and receive a full refund.
8.3. Risk of loss of or damage to the Products passes to a Consumer when the Consumer, or a third party designated by the Consumer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the Products.
For Buyers who are not Consumers, risk passes on handover to the carrier.
8.4. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and, where a parcel locker is chosen, for collecting the parcel within the carrier’s storage period. If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect address, non-collection or refusal, we will contact you to arrange redelivery; the cost of redelivery may be charged to you. If redelivery cannot be arranged, we will treat the Contract as withdrawn and refund the price of the Products, less the original outbound delivery charge where the return was caused by your act or omission.
8.5. Please inspect the parcel on receipt. If the packaging is visibly damaged, note this with the carrier and contact us at care@lemicrobiome.com within 2 business days, with photographs where possible, so that we can resolve the issue quickly.
Failure to do so does not affect your statutory rights under Section 10.
9. Right of withdrawal (Consumers only)
9.1. Withdrawal period. If you are a Consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the Contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), acquire physical possession of the Products. Where Products in one order are delivered separately, the period runs from the day you receive the last Product.
9.2. How to withdraw. To exercise the right of withdrawal, inform us of your decision by an unequivocal statement — by e-mail to care@lemicrobiome.com, by post to the address in Section 1, or by using the online withdrawal function on the Website (“Withdraw from contract here”), which is available throughout the withdrawal period and requires only your name, an identification of the Contract and an e-mail address for acknowledgement.
Withdraw from contract hereYou may use the model withdrawal form in the Annex to these Terms, but it is not obligatory. We do not require a reason, photographs or our prior approval.
To meet the deadline it is sufficient to send your communication before the withdrawal period has expired; if the last day of the period is a non-working day, the period is extended to the next working day. We will acknowledge receipt of your withdrawal without delay in a durable form, stating its content and the date and time received.
9.3. Exception — sealed goods. In accordance with Article 16(e) of Directive 2011/83/EU and the corresponding provision of the Lithuanian Civil Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health-protection or hygiene reasons once they have been unsealed after delivery. Our food supplements are supplied with a tamper-evident seal.
Consequently, once a Product’s seal has been broken or the packaging opened, it cannot be returned under the right of withdrawal.
Products whose seal is intact may be returned within the withdrawal period.
9.4. Returning the Products. You must send the Products back to us, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you notified us of your withdrawal, to the return address we confirm to you by e-mail.
The deadline is met if you send the Products before the 14-day period has expired. You bear the direct cost of returning the Products.
Please pack the Products securely; you are liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
9.5. Refund. If you withdraw from the Contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of delivery (except any supplementary cost arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the Products back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earlier.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
9.6. Further practical details are set out on our Returns & Refunds page. In the event of any inconsistency, this Section 9 prevails.
10. Legal guarantee of conformity and complaints
10.1. We are obliged to deliver Products that conform to the Contract. If you are a Consumer, you benefit from the statutory guarantee of conformity under the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania: the Seller is liable for any lack of conformity that exists at the time of delivery and becomes apparent within two years of delivery.
For Products with a best-before date shorter than two years, the guarantee applies until that date.
10.2. A lack of conformity that becomes apparent within one year of delivery is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery, unless proven otherwise or unless this presumption is incompatible with the nature of the Product or of the lack of conformity.
10.3. If a Product does not conform to the Contract (for example, it is damaged, incorrect, past its best-before date on delivery, or its seal is broken on arrival), you are entitled, in the order and under the conditions laid down by law, to have the Product replaced free of charge, to a proportionate reduction of the price, or to terminate the Contract and receive a refund.
We will also bear the reasonable cost of returning a non-conforming Product.
10.4. To make a complaint, e-mail care@lemicrobiome.com with your order number, a description of the problem and, where possible, photographs.
We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 business days and respond substantively within 14 days of receipt, as required by Lithuanian consumer law.
10.5. Deterioration caused by improper storage after delivery (for example, exposure to heat, humidity or direct sunlight contrary to the storage instructions on the label), by normal shelf-life expiry after the best-before date, or by use contrary to the label instructions does not constitute a lack of conformity.
11. User account
11.1. You may order as a guest or create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at care@lemicrobiome.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
11.2. We may suspend or close an account that is used in breach of these Terms, for fraudulent purposes, or to abuse promotions.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us; closure does not affect Contracts already concluded.
12. Intellectual property
The Website and its content — including the Le Microbiome and EQUILI names and logos, text, images, product formulations, graphics and software — are protected by copyright, trade-mark and other intellectual-property rights owned by or licensed to the Seller.
You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other reproduction, distribution, modification or commercial use without our prior written consent is prohibited.
13. Personal data and cookies
We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Lithuanian Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data. How we collect, use and protect your data, and how you can exercise your rights, is described in our Privacy Policy.
Our use of cookies and similar technologies is described in our Cookie Policy.
Both documents form part of these Terms.
14. Liability
14.1. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits the Seller’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for defective products under the applicable product-liability legislation, for intentional or grossly negligent breach, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Lithuanian or EU law.
14.2. Subject to Section 14.1, the Seller is liable only for direct losses that were foreseeable at the time the Contract was concluded.
The Seller is not liable for losses arising from your failure to follow the storage or usage instructions on the label, from use of the Products contrary to Section 4, or from information on third-party websites linked from the Website.
14.3. For Buyers who are not Consumers, the Seller’s total liability under or in connection with a Contract is limited to the price paid for the Products under that Contract, and the Seller is not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect or consequential loss.
14.4. We take reasonable care to keep the Website available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
We may suspend the Website for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control.
15. Complaints and out-of-court dispute resolution
15.1. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at care@lemicrobiome.com. We aim to resolve every complaint amicably and will respond in writing within 14 days.
15.2. If you are a Consumer and we cannot resolve your complaint, you have the right to refer the dispute to the consumer dispute resolution body designated under the Law on Consumer Protection: the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (Valstybinė vartotojų teisių apsaugos tarnyba, VVTAT), Vilniaus g. 25, LT-01402 Vilnius, Lithuania, tel. +370 5 262 6751, e-mail tarnyba@vvtat.lt, website vvtat.lrv.lt. You may also submit a request through the authority’s electronic system at vtis.lt. Consumers residing in another EU Member State may contact the European Consumer Centre network (eccnet.eu) for assistance with cross-border complaints.
15.3. Referral to out-of-court dispute resolution does not deprive you of the right to bring a claim before the courts.
16. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform its obligations (other than payment obligations) where performance is prevented by circumstances beyond its reasonable control that could not have been foreseen or avoided, as defined in Article 6.212 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania, including natural disasters, epidemics, acts of public authorities, strikes, and failures of carriers or telecommunications networks. If such circumstances continue for more than 30 days, either party may terminate the affected Contract, and any payment made for undelivered Products will be refunded.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in law, payment methods or delivery options.
The version in force at the time you place an order applies to that order.
The date and version number of the current Terms are shown at the top of this page, and previous versions are available on request.
18. General
18.1. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and the invalid provision will be replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to its economic purpose.
18.2. The Seller may assign or subcontract its rights and obligations under a Contract provided that this does not reduce your rights.
You may not assign your rights under a Contract without our written consent.
18.3. These Terms are drawn up in English and, where the Website is offered in other languages, in those languages. In the event of any discrepancy between language versions in a dispute with a Consumer residing in Lithuania, the Lithuanian version prevails; in all other cases the English version prevails.
19. Governing law and jurisdiction
19.1. These Terms and every Contract are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. If you are a Consumer habitually resident in another EU Member State, you additionally enjoy the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of that State.
19.2. Disputes with Consumers are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Republic of Lithuania, without prejudice to the Consumer’s right under Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 to bring or defend proceedings in the courts of their Member State of residence.
Disputes with Buyers who are not Consumers are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court for the Seller’s registered office.
